Lose Weight With Resveratrol

While writing articles on resveratrol and all of its benefits, there is always going to be somebody who has a slight reaction to its supplements and extracts. I have just put together a selection of the most common resveratrol side effects that people from around the world have experienced.

It is a natural product and incidences of side effects are low. There have been many extensive tests on resveratrol side effects, safety and purity. If you have any concerns, please consult your physician before taking any supplements.

Joint pain is one of the most common side effect of resveratrol.

One man in his early thirties reported joint pain after only two days and had to stop taking it after four days because it was too painful. He started taking it again after four weeks and reported that the joint pain never returned.

Another man was taking resveratrol and reported having prickly feelings in his knees and elbow joint pain which stopped when he stopped taking it.

Another side effect is that it can cause sleeplessness. Some people say they become drowsy. This usually goes after a week or two of using it.

Diarrhea and upset stomachs. Usually this is caused by an additive to resveratrol to compliment it for a specific purpose and greater effect. Check the purity before you purchase.

Some users report higher blood pressure and in some their skin becomes red and blotchy.

Other resveratrol users say that they get headaches and feel nauseous.

There are numerous reported other side effects to resveratrol but it has to be said that in a large percentage of cases, resveratrol has had an adverse reaction to another medicine that the user was taking for something else. In a number of cases it turned out to be an allergy and some cases were just the fact that the person would have had the symptoms even without taking resveratrol.

The vast majority of side effects wore off quickly after resveratrol was taken and in a lot of cases, just reducing the dosage would be enough to stop the side effects.

These reports above weren’t clinical trials but just incidences reported to resveratrol forums.
